GE's Druck DPI 620 Genii Series - Advanced Modular Calibrator and HART® / Fieldbus Communicator includes fully featured communicators for HART® / Foundation Fieldbus. They include full Device Description (DD) Libraries with the ability to add new DDs easily. The robust, easy-to-use device comprises four system components to provide the multi-functionality to perform duties formerly requiring a wide range of different instruments.

DPI 620 Genii-IS

Intrinsically Safe Multifunction Calibrator and HART® Communicator

The DPI 620IS is an Intrinsically Safe ultra-compact electrical, temperature and frequency calibrator and HART® communicator, which provides simultaneous measurement and source capabilities with a fully featured HART® digital interface. It integrates with pressure modules and pressure generation stations to form uniquely capable pressure test and calibration systems allowing configuration and multi-function calibration in hazardous areas. The DPI620 IS allows configuration and multi-function calibration in hazardous areas; The ATEX and IECEx certification allows the instrument to be employed globally in Zone 0 areas. The certification also applies to the instrument’s battery pack, permitting hot swapping within hazardous locations.

Each pressure station is designed for stand-alone operation as a pressure generator and can replace conventional hand pumps to provide greater efficiency and ease of use. They can also be used on the workbench as comparators Combining any of the pressure stations with a PM620 pressure module and the DPI620 Genii calibrator creates a uniquely capable, self-contained pressure calibrator.

PM620 Pressure Modules




The PM620 is the latest development in digital output sensor technology incorporating a number of key innovations to allow pressure re-ranging of compatible equipment. A simple screw fit makes both the pressure and electrical connections without the need for tools, sealing tape, cables or plugs and digital characterisation allows interchangeability without set-up or calibration.
